Doug has an impressive 27 years of investigative experience with the Los Angeles Police Department, where he built a distinguished career working on a wide range of high-profile cases. He retired from the prestigious Major Crimes Division, where his investigative portfolio included some of the most complex and challenging cases, such as homicides, officer-involved shootings, arson, bombings, stalking, identity theft, extortion, and cyber-related crimes.

Doug was also heavily involved in dignitary protection and surveillance operations. Over the course of his career, he became a recognized expert in critical site infrastructure security and conducted detailed threat analysis for high-profile events. His expertise was called upon to help secure major events like the Oscars, Grammy Awards, and various professional sporting events, ensuring the safety and smooth execution of these widely attended functions.

In addition to his vast law enforcement experience, Doug holds two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Riverside, further showcasing his commitment to academic achievement. After retiring from the LAPD, Doug continued to pursue his passion for investigative work by serving as the owner and operator of Virtual Cyber Cop, a company specializing in the investigation and prevention of cyber crimes. His knowledge and leadership in this area have further established him as a leading authority in cyber-related criminal investigations.
